As a UX Writer at Ramp you’ll help shape our revolutionary suite of products through words. Partnered with UX Researchers, Product Designers, Product Managers, Engineers, Data Analysts, and more brilliant team members you will co-own the challenge of simplifying our digital experiences. Your mission will be to help further reduce the complexity associated with tasks such as purchasing and selling cryptoassets. You will be doing so not by concealing said complexity but rather by guiding our users and, screen by screen, empowering them with the clarity and confidence they need to reach their goals. Each transaction made through Ramp should be a swift, delightful, and educational experience; enriching on many levels - and that’s where you come in.

Writing fantastic copy and guidelines for an extensive suite of products, while promoting the value of your work throughout the organization.
Designing and implementing/communicating strategies for scaling content, keeping in mind our commitment to accessibility, inclusivity, industry best practices, and our existing design system. Striving to foresee localisation implications.
Researching and intuiting the needs of all users, then fine-tuning your ideas by gathering comments from your team and evaluating user data.
To improve the user experience, trying and failing to apply new ways of arranging, creating, and explaining content on a regular basis. It’s not just microcopy.
Propagating sentence case vs title case consistency, spotting and pointing out Oxford comma and semicolon discrepancies.
Always leveraging available data to iteratively improve the user experience.
Assisting with A/B tests to validate your hypotheses.
Enriching Ramp's design system.
Writing guidelines for developers, performing implementation fidelity checks.
Helping build out and maintain Ramp's UX integration guide.
Contributing to building out Ramp’s brand, defining our voice, occasionally assisting with visual storytelling.
3+ years of expertise in product writing, content design/strategy.
Track record demonstrating that you enjoy dealing with ambiguity and complexity, excel at deciphering technical and financial jargon and translating it into plain English
You have a mastery of the English language and can always tailor it to your needs (C2/Native-level a must). You know every writing guideline, but you're driven more by how real people engage with language in the context of digital design.
You confidently speak up when you notice a potential snag in the user experience, and you know which design or copy modifications will fix the problem.
You balance priorities elegantly. From a subheading to a full product flow, you see how everything fits into the overall design environment. Still, not a single errant hyphen or full stop escapes your notice.
