As the Senior Legal Associate, you will be responsible for taking care of the legal side of our cooperations with Ramp’s business partners, integrators, regulators and stakeholders. You will be negotiating, verifying contracts and. Also, you will take part in supporting daily work of the company in the area of processing contracts with payment processors, KYC and fraud tools or crypto-dedicated solutions providers.
The main legal team's goal is to ensure compliance with various markets regulations and provide fast and efficient support to the operations and sales teams. Senior Legal Associate gives a chance to get not only the legal experience in the crypto world, but also to learn the new technologies and cooperate with the most prominent companies from the crypto space, like crypto exchanges, token issuers, wallets, and NFTs providers.
Preparing, reviewing, negotiating and implementing contracts and agreements with partners and vendors;
Realizing duties related to regulatory norms for specific markets (especially the UK market for now);
Researching and mastering the latest legal frameworks from regulatory bodies across the globe to meet applicable cryptocurrency, money transmission, remittance or otherwise applicable regulatory requirements;
Cooperating with internal organizational stakeholders, e.g. business development, HR, Operations, and Sales; Coordinating new licenses gaining as Ramp enters new markets and countries;
Help maintain library of contracts and legal documents;
Create internal Policies and Instructions
Helping with daily legal operational responsibilities.
You have previous experience in working for fintech (ideally fast and internationally growing fintech or company from crypto space) or at least orientation and passion for finance and crypto areas;
You have experience in independent work with customers and/or stakeholders;
You speak, write and read with excellent English manner;
You have excellent time-management, well-prioritizing and problem-solving skills;
You are a self-starter and you have great attention to detail;
You have the ability to work with a high level of ownership.
