We’re looking for a Chief Financial Officer to oversee and ensure progressive development of financial strategy: set goals, plan, identify, forecast and address financial risks and opportunities for the company. This also includes close cooperation with co-founders in financial management, forward-looking decisions at the international level.
take care of company budgeting and controlling,
report directly to the CEO,
manage financial statements, treasury area, costs and plan forward-thinking business strategies,
supervise finance and accounting on international structures - the company is headquartered in the US and operating all over the world with subsidiaries in the UK and Poland,
work with and for various stakeholders (including 3rd party vendors),
implement & lead cash planning mechanism, financial processes, cost control, revenue recognition and pricing model with CEO,
support co-founders in mapping out fundraising processes,
supervise the development and implementation of the tax strategy (locally and internationally),
provide financial liquidity and cash flow management,
work in a brilliant team in Warsaw or London.
hands-on executive experience in fast-growing and scaling financial/technology company or venture-backed startup,
experience in working with international companies and reviewing external contacts is a must (it would be great if these were companies from the United States, United Kingdom and Poland),
excellent understanding of financial analysis, forecasting and budget methods,
passion or at least interest in the cryptocurrency or fintech market,
able to manage complexity, prioritize tasks effectively with a can-do attitude,
defaulting to a data-driven decision-making process,
strategic planning and problem-solving skills.
experience working with tax advisors on international tax planning,
experience in venture capitals round or in executing share options grants.
